8/19/2023 0 Comments Starsector redacted fleet![]() ![]() I already have 5 Moras in my fleet so I should just get more of them instead of switching to Drovers. I know Drovers and Herons get system bonuses to fighters whereas Moras get Damper Field but it should be fine. I'm pretty sure that guy's using those drones you can only get from fighting the Remnant so that's a no-go for me right now. It is capable of extracting energy on an astronomical scale directly from the linked star. Mora has 3 slots for fighters so I'm thinking 2 Wasps 1 Trident. in: Structure Coronal Hypershunt Edit Coronal Hypershunt This class of megastructure once powered the unfathomable industrial might of the Domain, putting the human civilisation well toward Kardashev type II status. Wasps will swarm all over them as a distraction, and by the time the Tridents get in range there will probably be a ship or two with downed shields for them to bomb. Tridents only have 130 combat speed VS the Wasp's 325.Īs for weapons, Moras have 2 medium missile slots and 8 small ballistic slots. Longest range on a small ballistic weapon is only 700 so it would be pointless to take anything other than point defense for those. I haven't gotten good mileage out of the Pilum LRM Launcher because of how slow the missiles are but if I'm gonna be taking nothing but Moras the volume of fire should be high enough for them to work.Īre you simply looking to hunt a solo fleet (or maybe two at a time), or looking to do the crazy test of skill 4-5 Ordo fleets in one giant battle? What's your recommendation for the 2 missile slots? My personal favorite is the Harpoon MRM Pod, it has 2500 range, 12 ammo, good speed/tracking and does a ton of damage. ago If you want to LITERALLY own REDACTED ships: 1: Go to Fractal Softworks \Starsector\starsector-core\data\hulls\shipdata.csv 2: Look for the REDACTED ships' names 3: Delete the UNBOARDABLE tag from their entries. If just the former, you just need a decent end game fleet. 22 22 comments Best Add a Comment Kraosdada 4 yr. 2-3 capitals, cruisers to fill out the rest of the DP, all reasonably fit and with high level officers is sufficient. What is your typical deployment point slider set to? 500? 300? The carrier build becomes weaker with smaller deployment sizes. Features motes.Although its likely the strongest build available at the 500 DP setting. Only appears when the player fleet includes the ship. Interacting with it will cause the bridge officers to comment on how it was moving a while ago.Ī huge ghost that appears in deep hyperspace and triggers hyperspace storms around it. It's possible but rare for multiple Remoras to harass the player simultanously. Use the Interdiction Pulse to drive it off. Interacting with it reveals that its transponder codes are "over a hundred cycles out of date".Ĭircles the player fleet and emits regular pulses drain its drive field, temporarily reducing speed. Resolves as a dormant, badly damaged fleet (each ship with 5 D-mods). Tend to move in a straight line rather than following the slipstream's actual course. One or more ghosts that appear when the player is in a slipstream and appear to also be riding the stream. Leaves a slipstream in its wake.Ī swarm of 5-15 small ghosts that dart around a location while maintaining their distance from the player fleet, then scatter from the player. May have a 'calf' ghost and one or more remora ghosts orbiting it. Tries to lead the player fleet towards a system of interest (one with entities that show up strongly on the Neutrino Detector).Ī massive ghost traveling at a tangent to the Sector core. So presumably Tri-Tachyon lost the war because Hegemony killed the high level Tri-Tach commanders and Tri-Tach could no longer bring automated ships into battle because nobody had the Automated Ships skill. Bases of either kind may also attract mercenary fleets. Re: Explaining the sheer power of REDACTED (huge spoilers) « Reply 9 on: September 29, 2022, 10:41:18 PM ». Pirate fleets may spawn when a pirate base is nearby, and Luddic Path fleets when a Pather base is nearby. Turns out to be a fleet that may choose to attack the player. Imitates a medium to large fleet charging at the player with Emergency Burn, complete with sound.Ī ghost that maintains its position relative to the player fleet.
